From Sniper Zone to Activ Park : The evolution of outdoor activities in Malmedy, Belgium
Activ Park delivers premium outdoor activities in Malmedy – Belgium in the heart of the Belgian Ardennes. Located in Malmedy, just minutes from Spa-Francorchamps and close to the German border, our park welcomes groups, companies, families and friends seeking action in nature.
Formerly known as Sniper Zone, we deliberately evolved our concept to reflect a broader and more modern vision.
From the beginning, we placed nature at the center of every experience. Then, we expanded our activity portfolio to create more diverse and accessible group experiences. At the same time, we continuously invested in infrastructure and professional supervision to guarantee safety and quality.
As a result, Activ Park now represents far more than a paintball field. Today, we stand as a reference for outdoor activities in Belgium and group experiences in the Ardennes.
Our Story 20 Years of Continuous Growth
Our journey begins in 2005.
That year, we opened our first paintball field under the name Sniper Zone. Immediately, demand exceeded expectations.
In 2007, we expanded with two additional fields. Consequently, Sniper Zone became the first Belgian paintball center offering three distinct outdoor fields. From that moment onward, we positioned ourselves as a national reference.
In 2009, we hosted the European Scenario Paintball Championship. Teams from France, England and the Netherlands competed on our fields. This international event significantly strengthened our reputation and elevated our quality standards.
In 2012, we broadened our vision. On the one hand, we launched Shooting Zone. On the other hand, we introduced Mountain Bike activities. Moreover, we began combining multiple activities to create complete outdoor packages for groups.
In 2015, we expanded once again. Two new paintball fields increased our total playing area to 35,000 m² of outdoor terrain in the Ardennes.
In 2018, we innovated further. We launched Axe Zone, becoming the first center in Belgium to offer professional axe throwing. Simultaneously, we introduced new sports and fun concepts such as Archery Tag, Bubble Soccer, E-MTB and Nordic Walking. Additionally, we opened our activities to children with Paintball Kids.
In 2022, we reached a new premium milestone. We built a mini football field to host Bubble Soccer and Archery Tag under optimal conditions. Then we created a premium terrace and a kitchen area to welcome teambuilding groups with a higher level of comfort.
In 2025, we built a second football field to launch a new dynamic activity: Human Table Soccer.
Finally, in 2026, we made a strategic decision.
Sniper Zone officially became Activ Park.
